Verdie Dreyer is a doctoral student at the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences. He holds a M.Sc. in Theoretical Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, and his thesis has the working title, ‘Beyond the Dialectic Limit of Enlightenment: The Epistemology of a New Reason’. His thinking is currently focused on the proposed problem of reason in modernity as through the dialectic of enlightenment. Moreover, he is critically examining the works of Habermas and Hegel for the logic and design of their reason, and works to develop a new form of reason. Verdie is the author of the book The Premise of Non-locality.
