Koert Debeuf holds a PhD in Philosophy and a MA in History. His research is focussed on the influence of Arabic philosophy on European philosophy and why it disappeared from European history books. He is Associate Researcher at the Brussels School of Governance (VUB) and a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Resolution of Intractable Conflict, Harris Manchester College, Oxford University. His latest book "Tribalization. Why war is coming" (ASP, 2018) was translated in Arabic and Japanese. He is often asked as a commentator on international affairs.
