Continuing last year's series, two more workshops on the early reception of Spinoza’s Tractatus Theologico-Politicus will soon take place at the VUB.
Thursday 27/10 Pierre-françois Moreau (ENS Lyon) will lead a close reading of Henry de Boulainviller and will give a talk titled 'un spinozisme inversé ?’.
Thursday 17/11 Luisa Simonutti (ISPF-CNR Milano) will lead a close reading of Charles Blount and Thomas Browne and will give a talk titled ‘From Science to Theology: Spinoza's TTP’.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. The texts and last details will be communicated shortly before each workshop.
