Biography
Gerlinde Van Puymbroeck is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences, Free University of Brussels (VUB). Her current research focus is on the intersection of aesthetics and political philosophy. She researches the relation between current art practices and contemporary neoliberalism, their mutual involvement and its influence on the notion of art. She is also actively involved in the Belgian contemporary art scene as a moderator and writer. She holds a Research MA in Philosophy (VUB 2019), a MA in Philosophy and Moral Sciences (VUB 2017), and an MA in Art History (KUL 2009).
