Jan Jasper Mathé

Jan Jasper Mathé is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences, Free University of Brussels (VUB). He is associated with the Centre for Ethics and Humanism (ETHU) and Culture, Emancipation, Media & Society (CEMESO). His current research activities revolve around Kierkegaard and selfhood in the internet-driven culture of immediacy. Broader interests include cultural, existential and phenomenological themes in the philosophy of new media and technology. He has a MA in philosophy (VUB, 2018) and MSc in communication sciences (VUB, 2015).
