Pieter Meurs

Biography
Pieter Meurs is an Assistant Professor at the department of Educational Sciences of the VUB and is affiliated with the research groups Centre for Ethics and Humanism (ETHU) and Localities, Ontologies & Commons: Integrated (LOCI). His research focuses on the philosophy of education and community (development), with an emphasis on (post-)phenomenology, political philosophy, ideology and worldviews. He is the author of Tegen verbeelding (Brussels, VUBPress, 2017), and The myths of globalisation: Thinking the limits of world-forming (Brussels, VUBPress, 2015). He has published and presented on philosophy and educational sciences in a national and international context.
